Sly5thAve & DJ Center pay tribute to the Queen, Helen Folasade Adu on this tried and true version of Sade's classic, "Paradise". Here on 7" vinyl for a limited and final time! Back in 2018, Sly & Center came together for a future soul session fuelled with cosmic keys, driving synth bass, sweet guitar licks and a samba backbeat to match. The lush vocals on the tune were voiced by Rio de Janeiro's own, Thalma de Freitas, who styled on this version of "Paradise" in both English and Portuguese, culminating in a smoky samba jazz scat. The duo then took the session to Selva Recording to be mixed to perfection by Will "Quantic" Holland. Each 7" jacket is adorned with a print of original artwork by the Artist, Indie 184. Undeniably collectable and very necessary in a dance, grab one of these remaining 7"s while they last!
