Madlib's The Beat Konducta Box Set brings together all volumes of his iconic instrumental series in one 7-LP set, available together for the first time in a deluxe heavyweight slipcase.
These beats span 1994 to 2008, pulling inspiration from 70s TV and film library records, Bollywood soundtracks, and other productions from India made across the 60s, 70s and 80s. The journey closes with a tribute to late friend and collaborator J Dilla.
For the first time, Volumes 1-2, 3-4 and 5-6, long out of print, are presented as 2LP gatefold editions on classic black vinyl. Exclusive to this box set, Vol. 0: Earth Sounds appears on “Northern Lights” green vinyl. Vol. 0 was recorded around 1994-1996 and first released in 2001 in a limited pressing.
