PIONEERS celebrates the little-known lineage of female composers who were fundamental to the invention and evolution of electronic music. Against the backdrop of the turbulent socio-political landscape of the 20th century, they fearlessly experimented with machines and early technologies, unlocking processes and techniques that continue to shape how we produce, record and listen to music today.
