Aside from releasing a string of singles and one now eye-wateringly rare album in the early Seventies, Ethiopian star Amha Eshèté also maintained a wonderful production career. In 1972, he compiled some of his standout productions on a series of compilations titled ‘Ethiopian Hit Parade’ - this second volume, featuring tracks from Getachew Kassa, Mulatu Astatqe, Teshome Mitiku and many more, receives a reissue from Heavenly Sweetness.
