"The Best Of Lonnie Liston Smith" was originally released in 1978. It not only featured his classic club hit 'Expansions', from the album of the same name (1975), but tracks like 'Love Beams' taken from "Visions Of A New World" (1975); 'A Song Of Love', 'Space Lady' and 'Starlight And You' from "Renaissance" (1976); and 'Sunbeams' from "Reflections Of A Golden Dream" (also 1976).
Ace Records have reissued all of Smith's Flying Dutchman records and are delighted to put this compilation back onto vinyl.
