Slowcore icons Low invited the Australian instrumental rock outfit Dirty Three (featuring Bad Seed Warren Ellis among their number) to come along when they were selected in 2001 for the seventh volume of the Konkurrent label’s in-house studio sessions titled In The Fishtank. Duly, they came up with a mini-album of brooding, rootsy folk that included a cover of Neil Young’s ‘Down By The River’.
