In his dual role as a trumpeter and as a singer, Chet was one of the undisputed masters of the jazz ballad able to reach climaxes of intense feeling and intimacy. What better to illustrate this LP than two photographs of Chet with a lover on the cover, girlfriend Liliane Cukier in Hollywood 1955 and inside, with his wife, Halema Alli in Redondo Beach, 1956.
