Entity Reunion 2 is the return of artist and musician Alexander Tucker’s ongoing series of non-linear comic narratives. Published on his own UNDIMENSIONED imprint, Entity Reunion 2 continues his exploration of multi-dimensional entities viewed through ever shifting vantage points. Combining magic realism, dream logic and classic comic tropes, Tucker attempts to peel back the layers of graphic story telling using improvisation, cut up texts and graphic techniques.
Back in March 2020, Tucker felt unable to focus on music so started to work on material for Entity Reunion 2 without a clear view to where this work would take him. Developing unconscious imagery of doppelgänger entities and their omnipotent masters continues themes that run through his work as both a musician and visual artist.
He explains, “As with my music I like to develop material and then take it through a process of layering and building up spaces whilst at the same time deconstructing established ways of structure and storytelling, to then rebuild from that position.”
Alexander Tucker has previously published comics with UK based underground publishers Breakdown Press and is currently working on MICROCORPS, a new project using electronics, cello and voice, as well as ongoing collaborations with Nik Void, Keith Collins, Astrud Steehouder and Luke Murray.
